About Cloverwing Studio

From imagination to creation.

Cloverwing Studio is a small, independent creative publishing studio built on a love of stories, imagination, and the ideas that refuse to leave us alone.

Behind the studio are real people with busy lives, curious minds, and far more ideas than hours in the day.

For years, we’ve imagined stories, characters, illustrations, and creative projects we’d love to share with the world.

The trouble was, what we could picture so clearly in our minds didn’t always translate onto paper quite the way we’d imagined. Add in the demands of everyday life, limited time, and the occasional disappearing burst of motivation, and many of those ideas never made it beyond the imagination stage.

We suspect we’re not alone in that.

Cloverwing Studio grew from a simple desire to change it.

Finding new ways to create

Creativity doesn’t always follow a straight line, and neither does the process of bringing an idea to life.

We’ve embraced a mix of traditional and emerging creative tools, including artificial intelligence, to help us turn our ideas into something tangible.

AI has opened up possibilities that once felt out of reach. It helps us explore visual concepts, develop ideas, experiment with different directions, and bring our imagined worlds a little closer to what we originally pictured.

But technology is only part of the process.

Behind each project are human ideas, choices, revisions, and plenty of moments where something doesn’t look quite right and we start again.

We know the use of AI in creative work raises important questions, and we respect the different perspectives surrounding it.

For us, it isn’t about replacing artists or diminishing traditional creative skills. It’s about finding new ways to express the ideas we’ve always had.

The imagination was always there. We just found new ways to bring it to life.

Sometimes, a story begins at the dinner table...

Take Miko Swallows a Tooth Fairy, for example.

It all started with an ordinary family dinner and a wobbly tooth.

Naturally, the conversation turned to the Tooth Fairy, until someone remembered a rather unfortunate incident involving a loose tooth, a trip to gymnastics, and a tooth that was accidentally swallowed.

A note had to be written to the Tooth Fairy explaining the situation.

Then came the question:

“What if someone swallowed the Tooth Fairy instead?”

And just like that, a story was born.

The original dinner-table version had a rather... interesting ending involving the Tooth Fairy’s eventual escape through the digestive system.

Thankfully for the Tooth Fairy, the published story took a slightly different direction.

But that’s how ideas happen around here. A conversation, a funny memory, a ridiculous “what if?”, and suddenly there’s a whole new world waiting to be explored.

It’s these little sparks of imagination that inspire what we create.

A little studio with lots of ideas

From children’s picture books and educational resources to journals, stationery, and whatever else captures our imagination, Cloverwing Studio is a place to explore, experiment, and create.

We’re not a big publishing house or a faceless content factory. We’re real people, working behind the scenes, learning as we go, and putting thought and care into the things we make.

Some projects begin with a story. Others start with a picture in our heads, a passing thought, or a simple “what if?”

Not every idea works. Some change direction completely. Others take far longer than expected.

But that’s part of the fun of creating.

We’re building Cloverwing Studio one idea at a time, and we’re excited to see where it takes us.

Welcome to our little corner of imagination.
